Make it in the Emirates Opens With AI, Robotics and Industrial Cybersecurity Showcase

The UAE’s industrial push is no longer only about factories. It is increasingly about smarter factories, safer systems, and technology that can keep supply chains moving.

The fifth and largest edition of Make it in the Emirates opens in Abu Dhabi on 4 May 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, bringing together about 1,200 exhibitors across 88,000 square metres. The forum is expected to welcome 120,000 visitors over four days under the theme “Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger.”

A major focus this year is the new Intelligence Hub, a 1,400 square metre showcase built around practical industrial technology. It features artificial intelligence, robotics, drones, electric vehicles, batteries, industrial cybersecurity, and smart manufacturing solutions. The hub is designed to highlight locally developed technologies, international innovations, and UAE global collaborations.

For readers, the message is clear: AI and cybersecurity are becoming part of the industrial economy, not just the software world. As factories, logistics networks, energy systems, and production lines become more connected, companies need stronger digital protection alongside automation and efficiency tools.

The event also reflects the UAE’s broader industrial strategy. According to WAM, industrial GDP has risen by 70 percent since 2021, while industrial exports have more than doubled to AED 262 billion. MoIAT is also expected to introduce initiatives linked to industrial resilience, including the next generation of the In Country Value programme.

The forum includes several new platforms, including the Industry NextGen Hub for startups and SMEs, a Quality Hub focused on standards and certification, and the House of Industry, an immersive exhibition tracing the UAE’s industrial journey. SMEs, startups, and entrepreneurs account for 61 percent of exhibitors this year, showing how smaller businesses are being positioned within the national manufacturing ecosystem.

Make it in the Emirates 2026 is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADNOC, and L’IMAD, and organised by ADNEC Group.
